ENCOUNTERED A STRANDED ANIMAL, DEAD OR ALIVE? REPORT IT NOW

STRANDING RESPONSE TRAINING

Our team has conducted stranding and rescue training in <100 municipalities.

Being prepared for how best to protect the animal and yourself when responding to a stranded animal is essential and can mean life or death for the animal.

Stranding and rescue response is always a collaborative effort, which is why training and awareness are so important. Unfortunately, limited access to medical equipment and dedicated facilities restrict the diagnosis and increase the challenge facing marine animals and first responders. Improving access and facilities is one of LAMAVE’s long-term goals. If you or your organization is in a position to support this long-term goal, please do reach out to us at info[@]lamave.org
